Tip!
Secure Loose Stethoscope Eartips
Those plastic ear tips that come loose on their threads can be secured with a couple of wraps of PTFE tape used by plumbers (cheap; at the DIY stores). 

Tip!
A nasal cannula makes a great eye wash. a bag of Normal Saline with a 10 or 15 gts set hooked to a nasal cannula to run into the eyes.

Trick!
Bad veins? Hard to feel? Lay a warm cloth or hot pack on the area for  just  a minute to expand the vein.
